Dr. Tracy Thomson is a practicing family medical doctor, educator, and speaker. Drawing from various chapters of a long career in Western, Chinese and Functional medicine, Dr. Thomson understands the big picture and assesses people on a truly multifactorial level.
Dr. Thomson works with a wide range of patients in need of a holistic perspective to their health. Her goal is to use her experience to facilitate a health care model that promotes sustainability, reduces the burden on the health care system and increases the focus and awareness on preventative medicine.
With expansive education from institutions across Canada, Dr. Thomson has been a practicing medical doctor for over 20 years and holds an advanced fellowship in Anti-aging, Metabolic and Functional medicine. She is American Board Certified with the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. In 2008, Tracy established GAIA Collaborative Medicine Clinic designed to provide integrative health care programs for disease and preventative care. Her work at the clinic also focused on using cutting edge neuroscience and brain mapping technology to accurately assess and diagnose the health of your brain in critical areas almost always overlooked by conventional medicine.
Outside of her practice as a physician, Tracy is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle with her children and connecting with nature through sports and the mountains.
Recently, Dr. Thomson has been approached by a publisher to write a book on healing. Her goal is to have this information available to as many people as possible that are looking to improve their health. In addition, she has recently been promoted to the Provincial Medical Director for TELUS HEALTH alongside her work as Medical Director for Precision Health at TELUS SKY. As such, Dr. Thomson is no longer booking 1 : 1 consultations.
She is hoping to add useful content to this website and perhaps begin a podcast... so stay tuned.
